I’m Karen Yi, a third year journalism student at New York University. I was born in Miami and speak fluent Spanish. I am Peruvian and Chinese with a spice of Italian.

Eventually I hope to do some international reporting on social justice issues, because I am a firm believer the media has the power to create social change.

I started to this blog to document my travels in Europe, Africa and China last year. And now I’m back in NYC. But one day I am going to travel the world.
